We bought a bottle of wine from the Warehouse, and our customer thinks it’s bad. What do I do?
First, re-cork the bottle and bring the bottle (with the remaining wine) back to The Warehouse. We will replace your bottle on the spot- provided that the wine is not excessively old or obviously damaged, there is still a substantial amount of wine in the bottle, and you don't return wines frequently.
Can The Warehouse help with staff training?
The Warehouse takes the training and development of staff very seriously. We believe that wine training forms an integral part of the package that we can offer and it results in happier, more motivated staff and higher sales for both The Warehouse and the client. As such The Warehouse can provide training in all aspects of wine service and will provide regular, ongoing sessions in order to maintain levels of knowledge. Tailored, wine training packs can also be designed an implemented to heighten staff awareness of the business opportunities provided by wine. All training is in English in Hanoi, French in HCMC at this point, with Vietnamese oral translation provided.
How often does The Warehouse change its range?
Our core range provides consistent, good quality wine and we try to avoid changing these too often, we wish to provide stability for our on-trade customers. The wines of Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Georges Duboeuf, for example, are world renowned for their status, quality, consistency and value.
However, our list does evolve throughout the year as we search out spectacular new wines and details of these will be communicated at the appropriate times.
What happens if my wine is out of stock?
Whilst we try to avoid out of stock situations, these do occasionally happen. You will be offered a suitable replacement or the product can be marked as out of stock. If there is likely to be a more long-term problem then your account manager will contact you.
What is The Warehouses’ minimum delivery?
The minimum delivery is one mixed case within HCMC and Ha Noi and three cases of 12 bottles for elsewhere in Vietnam.
Can The Warehouse design my wine list for me?
The Warehouse is at the cutting edge of wine list production and design and offers the ability to produce quality lists quickly and at no cost to the client. These lists can be updated as regularly of as infrequently as the client desires. Please ask your account manager to see examples.
Does The Warehouse stock older vintages?
We occasionally have parcels of more mature wines so please ask. The speed with which wine turns over vintages at the moment ensures that most wines are relatively young however. Please keep in mind older vintages are as such; the stock levels therefore are not endless.
Does The Warehouse do ‘bin end’ promotions?
Yes, from time to time we do have "bin end" promotions and these will be mailed or emailed to our valued clients.
All Bin Ends will be offered to our Wholesale Clients in advance of any retail clearance.
Outside of HCMC or Ha Noi...

Can I buy under bond?
The Warehouse does not provide a Duty Free Service in Vietnam.
What discounts are available?
The Warehouse provides a discount structure based on volume of monthly purchases. Your account manager will be able to tailor a package that meets your needs.
Can I have copies of labels/pictures/tasting notes?
We are in the process of creating a Data Base of bottle images and labels; as well as brief descriptions. In addition we are happy to translate from French/English to Vietnamese, though we can and will take no responsibility for the resulting interpretations.

Do your wines feature in other retail outlets?
The Warehouse is a Wholesale Distributor and Retail Wine Merchant. Most of our portfolio is available, at an appropriate retail markup, in the Warehouses’ and Annam Gourmet Shops in HCMC and Hanoi.
We do, however, have the facility as Sole Distributors of our Portfolio, to offer for our Hotel and Restaurant clients a range of wines that can never be sold at retail in Vietnam, thus preserving the Price Integrity of the product,
Given the array of The Warehouse portfolio though, certain high volume wines are represented in Vietnams supermarkets.
In general however, our wines come from more specialised producers who are not represented in the chief supermarkets. This gives you, the client, and the confidence that supermarket listings and promotions will not undermine your credibility.
If a wine from The Warehouse portfolio is being represented mass market, we will ensure that our valued Hotel and Restaurant clients are aware.
